Makeup Haul

Recently, I've been trying to use powder so that my makeup looks better and stays on for longer. I thought I'd give this 'Stay Matte' by Rimmel London a go for £6. I bought the peach shade. So far I've only used this once and can barely see it make a difference on my face. Hopefully though as I wear it more and get used to it, I'll find that it does make a difference.

I was also in need of a new mascara. I always like choosing a different mascara to the one I had before so I can find the perfect one for me. I have quite long eyelashes already so I like having one that separates the lashes and gives them volume. This one from Bourjois does exactly that. I love the fan shape too because it feels more suited to my eye shape than the normal or even curved bushes.

This isn't a new product for me. I've been wearing this for years and never found a reason to switch. A lot of people don't like Max Factor but I really like this foundation and it's cheap! It's the perfect consistency and long lasting. One of these can last me for months even though I use it pretty much every day. I buy the lightest shade which is cream ivory. With the foundation, underneath you always get a little sponge with it which I always find useful because then you don't have to worry about buying a brush and carrying it round with you. It's always there underneath!

Garnier Tinted Moisturiser

Usually, I'm not into the whole fake tanning thing. I'd prefer to get one naturally. However my mum actually tried this first and I figured it looked pretty good so I might as well go for it! I'm so happy with the results. I've got a natural looking tan now and it's not orange at all! Finally I'm pale white anymore.

As long as you apply it evenly, it looks great. I have got a tiny bit where I didn't do it evenly and it doesn't look that bad. It's just uneven. I'd really recommend this to anyone who wants a quick tan because it's not harmful to the skin and doesn't put you at risk of skin cancer.
I've only put it on twice so far (once a day for 2 days), but I can already see the tan I wanted. I'm also aware that there are darker ones than this for people with darker skin than me or that want a deeper tan. I only used the "Light sun-kissed look".

This is my skin colour before I used it with a blob moisturizer on.

Jack Wills Top

Last weekend, I went on a little shopping trip with a few friends. Not only did I buy the products in my last blog post, I bought this top from Jack Wills. I love the burgundy colour of it, even though it looks more purple in these pictures.

Before this, I'd never actually bought anything from Jack Wills. I'd had a couple of things from there for Christmas but that's about it. I really enjoyed looking around in there though. If only I had a bit more cash, I would have come out with a lot more than just this. Overall I'd recommend going there if you haven't already, I'll definitely be going back, hopefully soon! :)

We also went into Super Dry and I just had to photograph the lights. It looked like something you might see in a dream or something. The picture doesn't do it justice.

New Mac Makeup

Yesterday I bought my first ever product from Mac!
I'm happy with the foundation I have at the moment so I thought I'd get something different.
I went for the matte bronzing powder which I got for £19.
Obviously I've only had a few goes with it but so far I absolutely love it. It makes my cheeks have a nice healthy natural looking glow. I have quite pale skin at the minute so I wasn't sure if I was going to have to wait until summer to use it but doesn't look like I'll need to. :)

Although I got my bronzing power from Mac, I found that the brushes were far too expensive! When the shop assistant told me how much I was in shock
For a brush pretty much the same as this Eco Tools brush I bought in Boots, it would have been £32.50 instead of £8. There was no way I was paying that, sorry Mac.
I love this brush though. It feels so soft on my skin and as a plus it's made from bamboo and recycled materials!

Exams...

I've had so many exams recently and I know that a lot of others have too. Everyone has different revision techniques but here are some of the ones that work for me. I have a science exam on Thursday so at least I'll be able to use this list to help me get ready for it:

• Make spider diagrams
• Read it over and over again
• Read it. Cover it. Write it.
• Record yourself saying what you need to learn and
play it as often as you can, especially while you're falling to sleep
• Do past exam questions

I always have to make sure I take breaks too. Once I get into revising I feel like I shouldn't stop because I've finally got down to doing it but it's important to give your mind a rest.

Good luck

Lace Cocktail Dress

Sorry for the bad quality :(
I just bought this dress for my cousin's wedding in July... I can't wait to get it, I'm so excited! I always love a bit of lace, what girl doesn't though? As soon as I saw it, I was sold. It was so cheap too I just had to buy it. I'm hoping that it looks as good on the pictures as it's going to when it gets here or I'll be gutted! You never know with things this cheap... :(

I'll definitely be posting a picture once it arrives in a few weeks so we'll see how it goes!

Just Getting Started

After all the times I've wanted a blog but never actually done it, here I am, finally!

Right now I have no idea what I'm going to be posting about. I'll make it up as I go along and see what happens.

I'm using the name 'Forever Inspired Teen' because I'm a teen (obviously) and a lot of the things we do are inspired by others in one way or another. Our styles and personalities especially. Thought I'd get that in there for the day when I forget why I ever chose it, which will probably be sometime soon. It took me a lot of time to actually find a name that hadn't already been taken... Everything I thought of wouldn't work! Oh well, I'm here now. :)
